The NorthCape Custom 43 project focuses on developing advancing fishing vessel performance.

Developed as a research-driven prototype, the NorthCape Custom 43 explores new frontiers in manoeuvrability with a dramatically curved transom and tumblehome hull running aft. Its unique hull design and multiple innovative underwater features have been engineered to help anglers chase down fish with speed and precision. When backing up, the transom lifts to keep the cockpit dry—an intentional design outcome from extensive testing and continuous development. The boat also goes through the corner quickly thanks to a drive chain configuration that is wider apart than anything currently available on the market.

Full epoxy foam core construction using resin infusion and powered by twin Cummins 600hp engines. Fuel efficiency and long-range capabilities have also been a focus, holding 3100 litres of diesel. Comfort and luxury is also a major feature of this vessel, with a drop down aft window creating an open bulkhead for a very social fishing experience, along with a two cabin layout sleeping a family comfortably.
